NCIS: Los Angeles - Keepin' it Real (1x06) quote

G: Is this an argument?
SAM: No. It's a difference of opinion. I happen to be right and you happen to be wrong.
G: Which makes it an argument. And for the record. I'm right. You're wrong.
SAM: Operators are made and not born, G. Skills can be taught.
G: Mh. What was that guys name? Swishman? Fishman?
SAM: Swisher.
G: Swisher.
SAM: Chuck Swisher.
G: Chuck Swisher. Used to sit and study the OPs manual in the UC van, knew the regulation book backwards and forwards. Terrible operator.
SAM: Yeah. He used to overcompensate for his lack of undercover skill by knowing everything about surveillance. But that doesn't make him a bad agent. Teachers learn to be teachers. Cops learn to be cops.
G: And somebody taught Lebron how to dunk from the free throw line?
SAM: Seals learn to be seals, G.
G: Yeah. Oh, that's right. You couldn't swim when you enlisted, could you? How long did they let you wear the floaties? I would take a lazy natural operator over an all night studier any day of the week.
SAM: It's too late. I already did it.
