The "stars" and ships align on Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as a new and exciting event, The Port of San Diego Fleet Week Big Bay Family Festival, kicks off Fleet Week activities. This free event takes place downtown at the B Street Cruise Ship Terminal (1140 North Harbor Drive, 92101) and celebrates the men and women of the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. Highlights include:
* Special appearances by LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell, stars of the hit CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles. The popular TV tandem will be appear together on Saturday, September 18, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. They'll greet the military and public, and provide a preview of NCIS: Los Angeles' season two, which premieres on September 21.
